Our packaging adheres to strict chemical standards to ensure safety for both humans and nature. Our mailers divert plastic waste from oceans and are fully curbside recyclable or home compostable. Boxes are fully curbside recyclable and reduces landfill waste. Water-activated natural starch glue means zero sticky, petroleum-based chemical residue on skin without needing fiberglass threads woven throughout.
With no plastic ribbons or ink cartridges, our printers use direct thermal technology (heat) to generate your shipping label. Standard label backings are coated in non-recyclable silicone or plastic film but our Zero Waste Liner uses a 100% recycled paper release liner with a patented non-silicone coating, making the peeled-off backing 100% curbside recyclable with paper. Free of harmful "forever chemicals" (PFAS) and plasticizers (phthalates) in both the paper formulation and adhesive. Direct thermal paper requires a chemical coat to react to heat. Conventional labels use Bisphenol A (BPA) or BPS. Our labels use phenol-free, non-toxic heat developers. The water-based acrylic emulsion adhesive uses a recycle-compatible, non-toxic adhesive formulation rather than harsh solvent-based adhesives.
